Why do Thailand's beaches are most beautiful to travel ?

1     The eastern Gulf coast. stretching south-east from Bangkok to the Cambodian border. The oldest and most well established of the resorts along this coast is densely developed Pattaya, although Gulf alternatives nearby are expanding with each passing season. The main advantage of the eastern Gulf resorts is their proximity to Bangkok, except for some of the islands, such as Ko Samet and Ko Chang, the beaches are not all that spectacular.
The Malay peninsula extends 1600 km south-east from Bangkok, creating a slender land barrier between the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean. Lined on either side by sandy bays, lagoons, mangroves, islands and islets, over half the length of this peninsula falls within Thailand's borders.

Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand
Numbering approximately 600,000. the hill tribes consist of six main groups, most of who have migrated into the area in the past 150 years, originating in Yunnan, Northern Burma and even Tibet. Primitive, poor and often marginalized by Thais, the hill tribes prefer to live in the uplands undisturbed and are noted for their distinctive costumes. Tourism Dollar, and efforts by His Majesty’ Royal Project to provide them with agricultural cooperatives, has brought prosperity and out side influence to some villages.

History of Hmong

History of the Hmong
Hmong Girls in Thailand
In Southeast Asia the Hmong as an ethnic group lived across the northern area of three different countries—Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. The Hmong lived in relative peace with the other ethnic groups of the region before and during French colonial rule, but support for United States’ military actions in Laos and Vietnam during the 1960’s differentiated them from other groups. When the United States military intervention in Vietnam led to armed conflict along the Laotian-Vietnamese border in the 1970’s, approximately 20,000 Hmong sided with the United States army and provided critical aid in reconnaissance and the destruction of the Ho Chi Minh trail (Lynch 2004: 6). However, the United States pulled troops out of Laos and Vietnam, and evacuated the countryside, leaving the Hmong—considered traitors—behind to face retaliation from those they had fought against.  The remaining Hmong in the region fled the hostile regimes of Laos and Vietnam in 1975 to settle in refugee camps like Wat Tham Krabok in Thailand.

ethnic group from the mountainous regions of ChinaVietnamLaos, and Thailand. Hmong are also one of the sub-groups of the Miao ethnicity (苗族) in southern China. Hmong groups began a gradual southward migration in the 18th century due to political unrest and to find more arable land.
A number of Hmong people fought against the communist-nationalist Pathet Lao during the Laotian Civil War. Hmong people were singled out for retribution when the Pathet Lao took over the Laotian government in 1975, and tens of thousands fled to Thailand seeking political asylum.
